My thoughts:

First off, I absolutely fell in love with Truman in the first 40 pages. Like instantly wanted him to have his happily ever after.  Tru is such an amazingly loving and real character, and Gemma is the perfect fit for him and his siblings.

But with Tru hiding the truth about his past and being thrust into instant fatherhood, their relationship will definitely be rocky. Can Tru get past his emotions and can Gemma get through her feelings about her past?

This is honestly my favorite of Melissa Foster's books, and Tru is by far my favorite character!

About Brynn Bancroft

Brynn Bancroft evolved from the Jillian Hillcrest mysteries where she served as Jillian’s manager while Chief Financial Officer of Harmonia Therapeutics in Silicon Valley. A shapely blonde with a MENSA IQ, she had an affair with the CEO of the company.

My thoughts:

I could not put this book down! Plus it made me want to go wine tasting, so that's always the sign of a fun story!

Brynn is enjoying managing her family's winery, raising her ward and trying to win her ex husband back. Then trouble starts, in the form of stolen solar panels, a friend who needs help, and then some massive wine thefts. Plus as soon as Brynn decided that she wanted her ex back Liam became secretive and wasn't available to her the way he normally was.

As the mystery gets bigger, it also gets much closer to home and puts Brynn's and Josh's lives at stake. Will they figure out the culprits in time?

This is part of a series, but can definitely be read as a stand alone book. I love the we were kept guessing! I was given good clue, and thought I knew who dunnit, but the twists and turns kept me on my toes until the very end!

Joyce T. Strand is the author of who-done-it contemporary and historical mysteries set in San Francisco, Napa-Sonoma wine regions of California, or Ventura, California.

Her most recent novels, Hilltop Sunset and Landscape for Murder, feature protagonist Brynn Bancroft, a financial guru in transition to winemaker from corporate executive. Brynn Bancroft is a minor character in Strand’s first three novels On Message, Open Meetings, and Fair Disclosure—three mysteries solved by Jillian Hillcrest, a publicist in Silicon Valley whose boss was Chief Financial Officer Brynn Bancroft.

Her first historical mystery, The Judge's Story, tells the story of a Superior Court Judge with a passion for social justice as well as the law who strives to discover the truth behind the mystery of a robbery-murder in a small California town in 1939.

All of her novels are inspired by actual events and/or real people, although they are definitely fictionalized.

I wasn't sure that I was really ready for a M/M romance, but I love Ms. Foster's books and was willing to give it a shot. Boy was this book the best possible introduction to the genre!

Tristan and Alex are both messed up, physically and emotionally. But it was so amazing to watch two strong alpha males discover the right man. Can they make it through their emotional problems to make a wonderful relationship?

This book was so hot, both for the emotional connection and the physical ones! I literally couldn't put this book down.

My thoughts:

I truly love this book! Ms. Faletti can transport the reader to anywhere in space and time that she wishes, through the richness of her descriptions and her storytelling.

Tatiana is living an empty life after the death of her parents and grandmother. Her marriage is in shambles and her life revolves around the stories her grandmother told her. She made a promise on her grandmother's deathbed to travel to France and Italy to meet the extended family she never knew...and to learn her grandmother's secrets.

Tatiana sets off on a mission for answers about her grandmother's life and instead begins to find answers about her own.

This book is wonderfully set in two different times, so we get to explore Maria's life in the 1940s and Tatiana's now. Will they find the answers that they're looking for?

My thoughts:

This story starts off extremely heart-wrenching, especially in our current state of attacks on police. A police officer is shot pumping gas while on duty, and the entire station is on the case to find out who is responsible.

Was someone looking to kill Barry Weir specifically, or are they starting a war on the police? Madison and Troy are both working to solve the case, but it's taking a huge toll on their relationship, as Troy is hurting from the loss of his childhood friend and not discussing things with Madison.

I won't give you any spoilers, but I will tell you that I cried, and I was shocked. Mrs. Arnold did a good job of showing the emotions of the characters without swamping me with emotion. I definitely enjoyed this book, even though I hadn't read the previous books in the series.
