My thoughts:
This book is hot, sweet, funny, and so family oriented! Diesel is very protective of everyone, but especially of Tracey because of her past. For two years he's stayed in one place instead of getting back on the open road, and the air between him and Tracey has sizzled.
When Tracey is involved in a horrible incident, Diesel not only protects her but helps take care of her, opening up to her in a way that he never had to anyone else. As their relationship progresses (and gets crazy hot!), Diesel's silence about his past remains a stumbling block.
When something happens to break Diesel's carefully constructed barriers, can Tracey be there for him as he needs her to be? Or will this be the end for them?
I truly loved this book! It was so wonderful to watch Diesel expand from a side character into one of my favorite men! As always, I love following along in all of the Dark Knights' stories, watching the children grow and seeing love blossom. If this is your first Whiskey book, enjoy it! But know that you'll want to go back and read the rest of them!
