My thoughts:

I love this book! This has to be one of my all-time favorites of Melissa Fosters' books.

Tiffany is a super powered career woman whose phone is permanently in her hand and Dylan is a bar owner who enjoys the pace of his life. But when Tiffany walks into his bar for a drink the two collide, and the sparks are so hot I'm surprised my Kindle didn't go up in flames!

This is a very, very hot book. The characters are wonderful, and as their relationship deepens it's wonderful to watch their personalities change and watch Tiffany slow her pace and enjoy life.

My thoughts:

This book is the perfect romantic read for the holidays, especially if you're into bad boys!

Nick is an escort who takes the jobs he's assigned, including playing Santa for a toy drive. Carol is a wheelchair-bound former mountain climber who is trying to live her life and provide a better life for children in her situation.

When the two collide at the toy drive Carol finds Nick as sleazy, self absorbed and altogether irritating. But he makes her feel in a way that she hasn't since before her accident.

Can the two make it work? Or will Carol stick with the safe option?

This is the first of the Bad Boys for Hire series that I've read, and I definitely want to go back and read the rest! There are glimpses of the previous characters' lives in this book, and I love following through on people's stories to see how their lives turned out.

My thoughts:

Melissa Foster has proved that love at first sight is is real!

Matt Lacroux has a life at Princeton, although his life revolves around teaching and writing. Mira Savage is a single mom, raising her brilliant son and working in Matt's family's hardware store.

Matt and Mira met months before, and they can't stop thinking about each other. They've managed a few short dates, but they both want more.

When Matt takes a sabbatical and comes to Seaside they finally have the chance to have the relationship they deserve. However, Mira's life is in Seaside and Matt's is in Princeton. Can they make their relationship work? Or will they all wind up with broken hearts?

This book is a wonderful addition to the Seaside stories. It can completely be read alone, but it's so neat to watch couples from previous books grow in their friendships and relationships. That's my favorite part of Mrs. Foster's books...how the books weave together to make an amazing series.

The Timberton Hotel has always provided a perfect Christmas retreat for regular guests, as well as newcomers. But the small town of Timberton, Montana, hasn't been the same since resident chef and artist, Mist, arrived, bringing a unique new age flavor to the old western town.

When guests check in for the holidays, they bring along worries, fears and broken hearts, unaware that Mist has a way of working magic in people's lives. Old-fashioned time spent together, exquisite food, conversation and a snowball or two offer guests a chance to trade sadness for hope. One thing is certain: no matter how cold winter's grip is on each guest, no one leaves Timberton without a warmer heart.


My thoughts:

This is my first of Deborah Gardner's Moonglow stories, and I'm going back to read Moonglow Cafe next.

This is a wonderful novella, set in a small town in Montana. Mist is the chef, stylist and artist for the Timberton Hotel, and her restaurant is packed at every meal. She takes such time to plan every little detail, and the patrons love her and her food.

In this story you meet a group of visitors staying at the hotel for Christmas. Some have been coming for years, some are newcomers. Yet the connections that they make and the warmth between them is wonderful. It feels very much like a small town holiday should feel, and I loved it. It definitely amped up my holiday spirit!

This is a wonderful, sweet Christmas story. That's also my main problem with the story, since it's so sweet. Even the sadness some of the guests were feeling didn't diminish the story, and I wish there was a bit more depth and variety of feelings.

My thoughts:

First off, I've read all of the Alex Troutt books, and I was stunned to find out that this was the last one! I was ready to read a dozen more.

That being said, this book delved into Alex's history in a way that none of the other books did. It had action, adventure, a 30 year old mystery, and an FBI agent trying to answer questions about her own childhood.

In a major twist, during an unrelated case Alex gets answers to her mother's death from a hit and run from her childhood. But the answers actually give her more questions, and she can't settle happily into her life without knowing what happened.

I wholly recommend this book (and this series!) This can be read as a stand alone book, but you'll get so much more out of reading the whole series.
