My thoughts:

Autumn has an inquisitive mind, but she's held back in daily life by her PTSD. When her therapist recommends she adopt a dog as a companion and for emotional support she heads straight to the shelter and finds Chrissy, a pup who displays some of the same symptoms as her.

Chrissy was witness to her pet parent's death and stayed with the body overnight, so she has separation issues and nightmares of her own.

As Autumn tries to dig deeper into Chrissy's background she's sucked into the mystery of the murder and takes it upon herself to start interviewing friends and associates of the deceased. But when threats start coming in, can Autumn keep herself and Chrissy safe? Can she help find a murderer before their lives are in danger?

This was a very fun read, with several surprises along the way.

I absolutely love the Moonglow series, and this might be my very favorite of the books! Mist has an amazing way of making everyone feel at home, even in terrible circumstances. After a fire at a nearby theater some of the dancers stay at The Timberton for Christmas, and Mist makes magic happen, for the returning and new guests alike.

This is such a wonderful, feel-good holiday story, and it's a beautiful way to ring in the holiday season!

This is possibly my favorite of Mrs. Cole's books! Rex and Jade's families haven't spoken in decades because of an old family feud, yet they've been lusting after another from afar since they were teens. After Jade returns home, the two keep running into each other.

They start a secret relationship, but they're both torn between love and family loyalty. Can they make a relationship work when their parents hate each other so much?

I absolutely adore these books, but I love love love Rex and Jade!

My thoughts:

When I first started reading this book I was seriously angry with Mr. Mefford. After reading the first 23 books in the series I was very connected to the characters in his books. So this book threw me for a major loop right from page one.

There is a rash of killings very close to home for Alex, Ozzie and Ivy. Someone is orchestrating murders in different towns at nearly the same time. And the killings just keep getting worse.

Can they find their way to safety before one of their lives is the next one taken?

This is a phenomenal end to the series, with an amazing amount of twists and turns. While I'm sad to see this series end, I can't wait for Mr. Mefford's next books!

My thoughts:

Bones is my new favorite Whiskey! He is a rough and tough biker on the weekends and a cancer doctor during the week. He cares madly about his family and everyone under the shelter of the Dark Knights.

After Sarah and her kids are rescued from a car accident Bones is immediately drawn to her. He pays attention, takes care of her and the kids, and spends time making sure that she has foods that she can eat with her huge list of food allergies.

Sarah is running from an abusive ex and a horrible childhood, and she's doing it with two small children in tow and a child growing inside her. She finds trust nearly impossible, but Bones is patient, loving and kind. And slowly she learns to spread her wings.

Can they make a relationship work? Their lives are so incredibly different, and Sarah is so hurt.

All of the Whiskeys are amazing people, and I've loved watching their family grow and spread. Their love for the community is immense, and they refuse to let people be in harm's way.
